    Description

    Tenmasa began as a tiny restaurant in the Kanda Sarugakucho district of Tokyo in 1937. Today it is the city’s exclusive tempura restaurant. From founder Masaji Hashii’s notebook containing frying instructions and recipes, grandson and current owner Yoshiaki Hashii preserves the authenticity of this exceptional culinary tradition.

    The art of tempura making is intuitive and a testament to the chef’s dedication, discipline and precision. We invite you to savor the delicate flavors of each Tenmasa creation.

    With ingredients flown in from Japan at least 5 times a week, Tenmasa serves exquisite tempura alongside views of the Macau Peninsula.

    Their highly-skilled chefs ensure that everything is cooked to perfection and served crisp and piping hot. Tenmasa features tatami seating, private dining rooms, and an exclusive sushi and sake bar. (Dec 2017)
