    Description

    Located at the heart of Knutsford Terrace, Port keeps things simple and unpretentious. Following an industrial shipyard theme, Port is all dark wood furnishing, with bright yellow letters and numbers stenciled on the floor, reminiscent of the dockyards of New York.

    Appetizers, main courses and desserts are a wonderful potpourri of Mexican, Italian, and American dishes, and are meant to complement the extensive drinks list. Perfectly seared Mexican Corn, coated with Parmesan cheese and accompanied by a dash of lime, will go with any of the Draught Beers (Asahi and Kronenburg 1664 Blanc). The Peri Peri Chicken Flat Pizza is perfect for sharing among friends – chicken coated in delicious Peri Peri sauce is grilled till the spiciness is sealed in, while the quintessential American favourite Pepper Jack Cheese in turn complements the jalapeño and habanero undertones of the Peri Peri sauce. The Fried Chicken Drums are baby chicken drumsticks marinated in Jack Daniels No. 7 sauce and deep-fried until irresistible.

    The drinks list is longer than the main food menu. The signature Port Cocktails are generously sized and pack a potent punch. In particular, the Summer Chill, which is a medley of Malibu Rum, Crème de Bananes, Strawberry Liquer, and Triple Sec, is as refreshing as summer breeze itself. The red and white wine lists are well-curated and offer a selection from all four corners of the globe – Australian, Italian, and Spanish wines are particularly well-represented.
