Description
Kokon has a reputation around town for coming up with the most creative sushi in the city. The ideas come courtesy of chef-owner Mr. Lai, who comes up with ingenious and innovative ways to jazz up everyone’s favourite rice-and-fish finger snack. Specialising in sushi with flavours drawing from Japan to the Caribbean, this place is guaranteed to take you on a massive flavour journey.

The menu here evolves with time, but you can expect to chow down on innovative maki rolls like the London Bridge, a long plateful of delicate little rolls of sesame seed studded rice filled with uni and scallops, or the Fire Red Lips, rice rolls crowned with red lips made of sliced strawberries and beef, filled with a spicy cream cheese mixture. Then there’s the Shrimp & Cheese, topped with shredded shrimp, tobiko, and creamy cheese. Another hot favourite is the San Francisco, a maki roll filled with eel, avocado, cream cheese, crab, and crushed fried crisps that add an addictive crunchy dimension.

Apart from sushi, the kitchen dishes out shabu shabu meals as well as salads, like the Crazy Salad, a Japanese-style lettuce salad topped with a mound of shredded crab and eel.
