    Description

    If you’re the kind to take your meat seriously, make a trip down to Grill 28. Located on the first floor of Causeway Centre along Harbour Road, Grill 28 puts the spotlight on steaks done well. Their beef is sourced from premium butchers, where only USDA Black Angus and Australian 120-days grain-fed beef make the cut. The meat then goes through a three-week process of dry or wet ageing, coaxing out all natural, funky umami flavours.

    Try the Dry-Aged New York Strip, a hearty and full-flavoured slab of beef, or tuck into the Wet-Aged Beef Fillet, a tender and juicy Australian tenderloin that is robust in flavour. Grill 28 also has other meaty options on the grill, such as a whole pork rack or spring chicken. The Lamb Osso Bucco, a must-try, is an Italian classic of oven-baked lamb shanks served in a red wine along with a side of silky mashed potatoes. Be sure to save room for dessert — the Galliano Panna Cotta, a sweet treat with berry compote and raspberry coulis, provides just the right amount of tang to balance out a rich meal. (Jun 2019)
